The Labour Party candidate vying for Anambra East/West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Aniekwe (MacPee) has explained that he showed his original educational certificates to many stakeholders to dispel malicious lies being speculated by an opponent.
Aniekwe said the showing of his original educational certificates became necessary because an opponent who could not find fault in his character or his enviable qualifications for the House of Representatives job is cooking up baseless lies to deceive gullible people.
At one of the meetings where he showed his certificates, a respondent said, “Now that we have seen his certificates, the choice is clear and in due time, we will make our pronouncements and our choice candidate will be known to our people.
Continuing, he said. “No doubt, all the candidates contesting for that position are our children; that is why we are trying to be very careful. However, we must all note that this time is a golden opportunity for us to produce the representative of Anambra East/West Constituency at the Green Chambers; and the opportunity must not be toyed with or wasted.
“We have been analyzing the chances of the candidates; lots of advantages are obviously on Macpee’s favour.”
Aniekwe at the various meetings gave names of schools and the dates he attended them and challenged anyone in doubt to verify.
