The delegation led by the Commissioner for Chieftaincy, Local Government and Community Affairs, Hon. Collins Tony Nwabunwanne, Ife Anam, and the mayor of Anambra West Local Government Area, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor, Apollo Jr, arrived Asaba Saturday evening.

The delegation first visited Mr. Osita Michael Ofozo, Mobilee, an unassuming, down to earth young man. The commissioner welcomed all the stakeholders and introduced them to the young Philanthropist whom he said had done a lot for the local government chapter of APGA and the entire people of Anambra West Local Government Area. He said Ossy Mobilee had always given APGA a strong financial support. And he thanked him for his kindness. He prayed God to continue to multiply his sources of income. The young man appreciated the delegation for their visit.

Next the delegation visited Chief Alex Okeke, a successful surveyor, at his home in Asaba. The commissioner stood up and told the gathering the reason for the visit – to thank Chief Alex for his sponsorship and fatherly roles. He told Chief Alex Okeke that they may have offended him. But he implored him to forgive whatever wrong must have been done to him. He said Alex Okeke had been an APGA leader and would remain in that position; this he said was uncontestable.

In the same vein Chief Jacob Udoba, Ebubedike Anam, pleaded with Chief Alex Okeke to let off any wrong done to him. He extolled his openhanded disposition and leadership – qualities that had made him a major leader of APGA in Anambra West Local Government Area.

Chief Alex Okeke appreciated the group for coming to see him and pledged his continuous support for the the party APGA, which has done so much for the people of Anambra West Local Government Area and the entire state.

The new mayor of Anambra West Local Government Area, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor, Apollo Jr., stood up and thanked the Commissioner, Hon. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, Ife Anam and Chief Alex Okeke and all other persons who were pivotal in the foundation and success of APGA in Anambra West Local Government Area. He pledged his loyalty to the party, promising to carry everyone along in his tenure as TC chairman.
