An anchorman on AriseTV, Mr. Rufai Oseni has called on President Bola Tinubu to apologize to Nigerians for telling them that fuel subsidy was a scam under President Goodluck Jonathan only to become real under his administration.
Rufai said, the accusation and the orchestrated protests that ultimately ousted Jonathan have proved to be misleading and Nigerians deserve an apology.
He stated on his verified Twitter handle, “President Tinubu once wrote a long article claiming subsidy is a scam. GEJ was excoriated and protests Orchestrated.
“All I will ask is, what changed. Isn’t it time to apologize for misleading Nigerians in 2012?.”
Oseni also called for a forensic audit of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
