The Transition Committee chairman, Nnewi North Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State, Engr. Chris Obiorah, has called on Anambrarians to continue supporting Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
The TC chairman who made the call during the commissioning of a Solar-powered borehole at Ebeleogo, Umudim, Nnewi called on Nnewi people particularly to deliver all the wards in Nnewi to Governor Soludo in the next gubernatorial election to ensure he completes all the projects in the community and initiate new ones.
He made similar request last weekend, when he commissioned another Solar-powered borehole project at Eziabubor, Nnewichi, Nnewi.
While addressing the audience, the TC chairman said that provision of water is very vital to several communities because almost everyone uses water for one purpose or the other. The chairman revealed that the Solar-powered borehole is reticulated to different points in the community to ease the challenge of water scarcity.

The chairman who recounted several projects being executed by Governor Soludo in Anambra State and Nnewi North in particular said that Governor Soludo had done for the area within two years what past governments could not do for them.
His Highness, the Obi of Nnewichi, Obi George Onyekaba in his remark said that Nnewi people have enough reasons to give maximum support to the Anambra State governor, Prof. Soludo because the governor is touching every part of the state in remarkable ways.
The Obi said that water and light are very essential to good living and Governor Soludo is providing them to Anambra communities.
“I applaud the Solution Governor for what he is doing in the Nnewi zone” he said. “I reinstate that my people will continue to give him our maximum support which we demonstrated in the last re-run election .”
He urged the Governor and the APGA government to remain consistent in their provision of qualitative governance so that people’s hope reposed in them will not wane.
The Obi Nnewichi, said that Governor Soludo is performing wonderfully well and urged the Governor to continue doing well.
Also speaking, APGA vice chairman, said that Soludo is a silent performer and does not engage in unnecessary propaganda because his goods work speak loud enough for the deaf to hear and for the blind to see. He urged the people to take charge of the borehole and protect it for their good.
The President General of Ebeleogo, Prince Udegbunam Ugochukwu said he lacked enough words to express appreciation for the project and could only pray God to bless the governor and the TC chairman for remembering his people.
Several dignitaries including traditional rulers and party faithful were at the event.
