The traders at Afor Akwaeze market in Anaocha LGA, Anambra State, Thursday, erupted with joy and praises as the Transition committee chairman, Anaocha LGA, Hon. Gerald Ikechukwu Ozoh and the Commissioner for Health, Anambra State, Dr. Ben Obidike layed foundation for lock-up shops in their market.


The celebration was ignited in a special way when the Health Commissioner, Dr. Obidike and the LGA chairman, Hon. Ozoh entered the market and paid for varieties of food stuff which were distributed for the market women. The market women’s expression of joy was boundless.
In a collective response, the market women expressed their boundless support and appreciation for the TC chairman, Hon. Ozoh, the Health Commissioner, Dr. Obidike and Governor Chukwuma Soludo for bringing democracy dividends to their doorsteps. They unanimously declared their undiluted support for Governor Soludo, nwa Mgbafor and prayed for his administration to continue touching their lives, through his people-orientated projects.
In his brief speech, the TC chairman, Hon. Ozoh promised the market women that the lock-up shops would be completed within a month. “I will return here in a month’s time to commission this project courtesy of our Solution Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo” he said. “I assure you that before you know it, these shops will be ready for use.”
The LGA chairman and his counterpart, Dr. Obidike reminded the Akwaeze market women of the importance of their continued support and prayers for Governor Soludo so he could complete all the life-changing projects he planned for them.
Also in his brief speech, the Health Commissioner, Dr. Obidike recounted several projects that had been executed by Governor Soludo while promising and informing them that the governor intends to do more for them with their support. He urged the Akwaeze people to continue to support the APGA government ably led by Governor Soludo.
