A Soludo support group, Adorable Ladies was today inaugurated in Anambra West LGA, Anambra State.
The convener, Lady Chinyere Monya, said the group was delighted about the good works of the governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and had decided to muster themselves to identify with the Solution Governor through their own son, Hon. TonyCollins Nwabunwanne, Ife Anam.
She said that the Commissioner for Local Governments, Traditional and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. TonyCollins Nwabunwanne, who holds the Chieftaincy title of “Ife Anam” is truly the light of ndi Anam and the entire Anambra west: that he had shown them the right path which is the path of Solution. The entire group undertook to walk in the light by supporting the Solution Governor.
They prayed for the continuation of the good works and pledged to muster themselves in their numbers to reciprocate the good works of the governor by voting massively for the Solution Governor for his second term.
Hon. Nwabunwanne was joyful about the group’s decision to lend their support to the good works of the governor and encouraged the women to lend their full support to the success of Prof. Soludo’s administration so that the governor would do more work for ndi Anambra.
Also, the new transition committee chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor, Apollo Jr., urged the group to be unrelenting in their support for the governor, saying that the governor was the first governor to remember Anambra West Local Government Area. “He built the road leading to the local government secretariat when no one dreamed about it, when everyone had lost hope,” he added.
The inaugural gathering was held at Umueze Anam.
The hall was filled to its capacity by the group led by Lady Monya the convener, APGA former Woman Leader, Hon. Maureen Nwakasi and the current APGA Woman Leader, Mrs Nneka Nwachigwe. The members – women of calibers – were drawn from the 10 wards in Anambra West Local Government Area to identify with the Solution Governor.
The hightlight of the occasion was the inauguration of the group by Chief Jacob Udoba, Ebube Anam, whom the Commissioner delegated to do so. Chief Udoba encouraged the women to continue in their support for the governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
