Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has renewed his membership as All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) kicks off e-registration/revalidation of its membership all over the federation.
Prof. Soludo the obtained his registration/revalidation certificate/card after officials of the party conducted his online registration and biometric data capturing.
Speaking after the registration, Governor Soludo said, “Today, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), my party, commenced the Digital Registration and Revalidation of Members. I was at my Isuofia Ward with my wife and daughter to carry out the biometric capture and online registration.
” I am proud of this historic and landmark achievement, becoming the first political party in Nigeria to deploy digital technology in the registration of her members.”
The governor noted that the development was a new dawn in political party management in the country and expressed happiness that APGA is setting the pace. “This process will take place across the country at designated centres in all the political wards”, he assured.
The national chairman of APGA, Barr. Ezeokenwa Sly Jr who led other NWC members of the party to the e-registration flag off said, ” Today marks a significant milestone in the advancement of our party’s operations, as we proudly announce the successful launch of our membership digitization process. This launch is a fulfilment of my manifesto agenda, reflecting our unwavering commitment to modernizing our party infrastructure and promoting efficiency and transparency.
” I am confident that this initiative will contribute to our ongoing efforts to strengthen our party’s position as a leading force for progress and change in Nigeria.
Ezeokenwa thanked the governor and national leader of the party, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR., and his amiable wife for kicking off the process in his Isuofia ward.
On his part, the National Convener of APGA Apostles Forum, Chief Nchekwube Anthony Dunga commended the party leadership for introducing modern ways of party administration while noting that with the DRIVE APGA agenda of the current leadership of the party “we will conquer within the shortest possible time”, he declared.
