Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has expressed his delight over the visit of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, describing it as a profound and cherished occasion.
Prof. Soludo in his Twitter (X) handle stated, “It was a moment of great honor to host His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
“The visit of such a revered monarch was a profound and cherished occasion, steeped in the rich traditions and wisdom of our nation.
“In our discussions, I was deeply moved by the Ooni’s unwavering commitment to being a bridge builder, fostering connections and understanding amongst diverse communities.
“I was presented with a stunning bronze carving, a gift of great significance from the Ooni. This exquisite piece, depicting a hunter standing resolutely on a rock, symbolizes the strength and resilience that we, as leaders, must embody as we navigate the complexities of governance.
“It is evident that traditional institutions, such as his, provide a stabilizing force for our nation, serving as pillars of unity and harmony.”
