Various speakers, Saturday, March 16, at a mega rally organised by Soludo Ambassadors gave reasons Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo must be supported for a second term in office.
The speakers pointed out that Governor Soludo had initiated several projects in Anambra communities and needs to be supported for 2nd term to complete them.
In his speech, the National coordinator of the group, High Chief, Kenneth Nwachukwu said that Governor Soludo made history as the first governor who immediately after being sworn into office, went straight to work, without engaging in unnecessary politicking.
He said, “Our Solution Governor went straight to Okpoko to initiate projects on the day of his swearing-in. Go to the place now, it has taken a new shape; water is running at Okpoko; there is a functional hospital at Okpoko and he is doing the same thing in several parts of the state.”
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the governor on Political matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu said that with his 32years of experience in politics he had never seen any governor who was able to do in eight years, what Governor Soludo had accomplished in just two years and still doing more.”
Dr. Obiogbolu said, “there will be no contest in the next gubernatorial election in Anambra State because Governor Soludo is providing the solution needed to make Anambra State better.
“He employed 5000 teachers to stop the long history of schools being without teachers. He is building mega five hospitals in areas that lacked it before; our children can now go to school free of charge; he is turning Awka to a befitting state capital; he has completed over 242 kilometres of roads and doing much more.”
Dr. Obiogbolu urged the people of Anambra North Senatorial district to continue supporting Governor Soludo and ensure that he is re-elected for second term so that he could complete all his developmental plans for Anambra State and Anambra North in particular.
