In a strong show of unity and resolve, stakeholders of Omambala communities have issued a stern warning against any individual or group plotting to cause violence in the area. Following the recent communal clash that disrupted peace in the region, traditional leaders, community elders, youth groups, and security stakeholders have vowed to use all available means to decisively deal with anyone threatening the peace and stability of their communities.

The stakeholders, who convened an emergency meeting at the heart of the region, expressed deep displeasure over the wanton destruction of lives and properties during the violent clash. In a joint statement, they declared that the era of unchecked violence is over. “We are determined to protect the peace and prosperity of Omambala. Anyone found instigating or participating in acts of violence will be dealt with using all our might and connections. This is a line no one is permitted to cross,” a prominent stakeholder emphasized.

The statement further highlighted that the stakeholders have enlisted the cooperation of state security agencies and other influential community networks to monitor the area and swiftly respond to any threats. Youth leaders, who were part of the meeting, pledged their allegiance to ensuring peaceful coexistence and called on their peers to reject calls for violence or revenge.

“We have the support of the government, traditional institutions, and private networks. We will not hesitate to use every resource at our disposal to root out troublemakers and secure our people’s future,” one stakeholder remarked passionately.

The recent violent incident, which reportedly stemmed from a longstanding boundary dispute between two neighboring communities, left many residents traumatized and disrupted economic activities. In response, the stakeholders resolved to embark on conflict resolution initiatives to foster dialogue and rebuild trust between the affected parties.

Furthermore, the stakeholders urged the state government to expedite its efforts in addressing the underlying issues fueling tensions in the region. They also called on all residents to remain calm and law-abiding, assuring them that proactive measures are being taken to avert further unrest.

Omambala, known for its rich cultural heritage and economic significance, cannot afford to be plunged into instability, the stakeholders noted. “We will protect our land, our people, and our heritage. Violence is not our path, but neither is surrender to chaos,” they concluded.

The resolute stance of the stakeholders sends a clear message to those contemplating acts of violence: Omambala is united, vigilant, and ready to decisively defend its peace and progress.
