The residents of Okpoko in Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State and its environs have applauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for turning the area to new Haven as he promised them during his campaign.
The residents who trooped enmasse to witness the commissioning of completed 12km road and the supervision of several ongoing projects in the area, collectively agreed that there was never an Anambra State governor like Prof. Soludo. They said, “Indeed, Solution is here and we are witnessing it, first hand.”
Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly and the representative of Ogbaru II constituency, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze said Governor Soludo had deep concerns for the people of the area and had demonstrated it by myriads of projects he is currently executing in the area. He urged the people to continue praying and supporting the governor, especially in the forthcoming gubernatorial election so that more projects could be done.
In his address, Governor Soludo expressed immense gratitude for the people’s warm welcome and reiterated his commitment to transforming Okpoko into a community a bubbling city.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and proper waste management and urged the residents to utilize designated marketplaces instead of street vending.
The governor outlined a comprehensive vision for Okpoko’s future: “Improved access to clean water through a functional pipe-borne system; Enhanced healthcare with proper treatment options readily available; Free and accessible education for all children and Free antenatal and delivery care for pregnant women.”
