
The member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe has disbursed N12million to youths in his constituency in continuation of his promise to empower his constituents and promised to declare state of emergency on human capital development.
Obidigwe made the disbursement at Anambra East Local Government Area Secretariat, Otuocha during a special enlarged Stakeholder’s Meeting including the APGA Local Government chairmen in Anambra North. The money was majorly disbursed to those he trained on several skills acquisition programme.
The Federal lawmaker during the meeting announced his intention to declare state of emergency in the area of human capacity building / empowerment in Anambra East and West through what he tagged “Mother of all Empowerment in Anambra East and West” in April, 2022.

Earlier in the month, Obidigwe sent 40 farmers to Egypt so they would learn how to engage in mechanised small scale farming, wet and dry season farming, and methods of preservation of agricultural produce, among others.
While speaking before departing through the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Obidigwe said he would continue to give his constituents quality representation.
