Chief Primus Odili, the former Chief of Staff to Chief Willie Obiano and the Transition Committee chairman of Anambra West, Hon. Felix Ikechi, have called for more support to Prof. Charles Soludo’s administration to sustain his developmental strides.
They made the call during a meeting of all Soludo supporting groups held at Umuoba Aboegbu, Anambra West Local Government Area, Anambra State.
In his speech at the event, Chief Odili who contested for the Anambra North senatorial seat at the last election, reminded the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) faithful the need to remain steadfast in their support for Prof. Soludo. He assured them of the governor’s determination to fulfil all his campaign promises; like the ongoing rural electrification project in Anambra West.
Odili said that aside rural electrification, Prof. Soludo would touch every part of the state with developmental projects on turn by turn basis. He reminded them that their continued relevance is anchored on their continued support for Governor Soludo’s administration.
Also speaking, the chairman, Transition Committee, Anambra West, Hon. Felix Ikechi said Prof. Soludo has the interest of Anambra West at heart which he had started demonstrating. He cited the just completed local government Secretariat at Nzam and numerous ongoing water projects in the area. Hon. Ikechi said that unlike other political parties, APGA has continued to hold meetings at different levels to ensure that everyone is carried along at all times. He noted that APGA is not a political party that only remembers its members during elections and must continue to gather from time to time.
Meanwhile, the contractor handling the Anambra West rural electrification project, Hon. Ojukwu Obakasi has been receiving heavy commendations from the residents since Monday when the Ezi Anam communities witnessed NEPA light after several years of failed promises; until Soludo’s time. Obakasi said he would ensure that all the power lines were energized, soonest in line with the Governor’s plan.
Moreover, different Soludo groups who worked for the emergence of the governor are set to work under one collective umbrella, to be known as Soludo Movement.
The State Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Chinedu Nwoye Glamour, represented Governor Soludo at the event.
