Wife of Anambra State governor, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Nonye Soludo, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for leading by example and encouraging community development through the Private-Public Community Partnership (PPCP) initiative.
Mrs. Soludo, who was visibly impressed by the PPCP’s impact, thanked the governor for his efforts, saying: “Thank you, Governor Soludo, for leading by example and encouraging community development through the PPCP. Mr. Chinedu Okonkwo’s contribution is truly inspiring. Here’s to more collaborations and a thriving Anambra.”
Her comments came on the heels of Governor Soludo’s visit to Ojoto, where he celebrated Mr. Chinedu Okonkwo’s induction into the PPCP hall of fame. Mr. Okonkwo’s remarkable achievement of constructing a 1.2km road in his community was recognized as a shining example of the PPCP’s impact.
Governor Soludo praised Mr. Okonkwo’s achievement, saying it embodies the spirit of collective action and development that his administration has been promoting. He noted that the PPCP model has been gaining traction and momentum over the last 34 months and expressed his commitment to continuing to mobilize the people to work together towards a brighter future for Anambra.
