The Mayor, Anambra West Local Government Area, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor, has advised students to steer clear of cultism, drug abuse, and other social vices that have become increasingly prevalent in the society.
The Mayor who gave the advise in commemoration of the 2024 International Students’ Day, emphasized the importance of concentrating on their studies to achieve academic excellence.
Nnazor expressed concern over the alarming rate at which students are engaging in destructive behaviors, which can hinder their ability to graduate with good grades. He stressed that education is a powerful tool for creating positive change in communities and the state at large.
By heeding Hon. Fidelis Nnazor’s words, students could unlock their full potential and contribute to building a better future for themselves and their communities.
