
Transition Committee chairman, Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata), has said that the massive projects being executed by the Anambra State governor, Prof. Charles Soludo is the major reason opposition party members are joining the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
She made the statement at Obosi in Idemili North during the reception of new members by the APGA state chairman, Chief (Sir) Ifeatu Obi-Okoye.
She noted that massive infrastructural development, excellent attention to education, health, environment and many others are part of the reasons people are joining APGA.
Earlier, the chief host, the honourable Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma applauded the new members for taking the bold step, adding that Governor Soludo is doing marvellously well.
In his remark, Chief Obi-Okoye welcomed the new members and promised to give equal treatment to every member of the party.
Meanwhile, the new members collectively appreciated Governor Soludo and Hon. Okoma for their efforts toward the development of the state.
The event was also attended by Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu; TC Chairman of Idemili North, Hon. Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua; stakeholders, local government party executives, ward executives and many others.
