The special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ajuri Ngelele, has said that having many refineries in Nigeria will not reduce the price of fuel.
Ajuri who noted that there are many benefits of having refineries like reducing cost of transportation, said the price will be determined by market forces. “The owners are in business to make profits” he said.
The spokesman said that very soon Dangote refinery, PortHarcourt and Calabar refineries will go into operation. And having them in Nigeria will make the products readily available.
