Nnewi, Anambra State – Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has expressed deep sympathy for the victims of the midnight fire that ravaged Ahịa Mgbede, located opposite the New Motor Spare Parts Market in Nnewi. The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, January 14, 2025, leaving significant destruction in its wake.
In a statement released through his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo lamented the substantial loss of property and the devastating impact on the livelihoods of numerous traders and their families. He described the incident as a tragic setback for the affected business owners, plunging many into hardship and uncertainty.
