Awka, Nigeria – May 29, 2025 – The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has extended heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his second anniversary in office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement signed by Mr. Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor, Soludo praised President Tinubu for his bold and visionary leadership, which, despite initial challenges, has laid a strong foundation for Nigeria’s long-term economic stability and inclusive development.
“President Tinubu’s courageous leadership in implementing necessary economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and foreign exchange unification, is a demonstration of purposeful governance,” the statement reads. “These game-changing policies, though demanding in the short term, are critical to Nigeria’s journey towards sustainable growth and global competitiveness.”
Governor Soludo further acknowledged the deepening partnership between Anambra State and the federal government under President Tinubu’s leadership. He noted with appreciation the enhanced federal support for key infrastructure projects in Anambra and increased attention to the developmental aspirations of the Southeast region.
“As progressives, we share a common vision for a new Nigeria anchored on competence, transparency, and innovation,” the governor stated. “Anambra State stands firmly in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda, recognizing that our collective progress as a nation is built on the success of each state.”
He expressed confidence that the remaining years of the administration will witness even greater consolidation of achievements, urging continued national unity and shared commitment to reform.
Governor Soludo also used the occasion to congratulate his brother Governors across Nigeria who are equally marking their two years in office, commending their efforts toward good governance and urging continued delivery of impactful leadership.
