

The Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne has charged Christians to be faithful in all their dealings.
Nwabunwanne who spoke at the 5th Synod of the Diocese of Mbamili Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), at the Cathedral of St. Michael Umuikwu Anam reminded them to always pray for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
He attended the event in company with the Transition Committee, chairman, Anambra West L.G.A. Hon Felix Ikechi.
Nwabunwanne in his address reminded the congregation that God had given them power to take dominion over and to rule in the midst of their enemies according to the word of God.
While urging them to pray for the Anambra State Government as the administration is working very hard to deliver a livable and prosperous homeland for the good people of the state and generations to come.
He highlighted some of the great projects, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo CFR, is carrying out in Anambra West in particular and the state at large.
On his part, the Bishop of Mbamili Province, His Lordship Rt Rev’d Bishop Obiora Uzochukwu, commended Governor Soludo for remembering the good people of Anambra West in terms of road infrastructure and the rural electrification project that is currently going on in various communities, among other projects in the area. The bishop appealed to the state Governor to extend the road from Nzam to other parts of Olumbanssa.
He also appreciated the Commissioner for working tirelessly toward restoration and maintenance of peace in various communities in Anambra State.
