The Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Chief Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne has called on Anambra West communities to form land boundary committees to end incessant communal clashes over land.
Chief Nwabunwanne made the call while addressing Anambra West the youths at an event organized by Ossy Mobile Foundation and tagged: Anambra West Socio-political Awareness, at Ajandu Hall, Umueze Anam held at Umueze Anam in Anambra West Local Government Area, Anambra State. Nwabunwanne said the regular communal clashes can be avoided if communities choose dialogue instead of war. He said no such matter has ever been resolved through war. According to him, many communal clashes would have been resolved at a round table without spilling blood.
