In a major boost for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra West, Chief David Edochie Onuorah, a respected grassroots mobilizer and private sector leader, has officially joined the party. His defection marks a significant moment as APGA continues to consolidate its hold ahead of the next election.
Speaking on his decision, Chief Onuorah emphasized the need for APGA to embrace new members with love, respect, and humility while expanding its reach through massive mobilization efforts. He outlined key strategies for strengthening the party’s presence, including ward, village, and town-level publicity, youth and gender involvement, engagement with elites and academia, as well as collaboration with traditional institutions and market unions.
“Winning elections is people-centered. It is about performance, service delivery, and the promise of a greater tomorrow,” Chief Onuorah stated. “I am joining APGA to bring my wealth of private sector experience to bear on lifting my people to tap into the great future that beckons with Governor Soludo’s second term coming.”
He further expressed confidence in Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s leadership, asserting that his imminent re-election signifies continued progress for Anambra State.
“Ife adigo mma na Anambra State,” he declared, reinforcing the party’s message of development and good governance.
Chief Onuorah, known for his commitment to community growth, also shared his personal philosophy: “Working hard to live in abundance and affecting lives positively through genuine and honest efforts.”
His entry into APGA is expected to energize party structures in Anambra West, bolstering its grassroots appeal as preparations for the next election intensify.
