Transition committee chairman, Awka North LGA, Anambra State, Hon. ThankGod Anago has congratulated Christians worldwide on the celebration of Good Friday.
Hon. Anago in a press statement, reminded Christians that the occasion calls for sober reflections on their lives.
He stated, “I wish to join ndi Awka North and the Church of Christ (Christians around the world) in commemorating Good Friday which significantly represents the celebration of the crucification and death of Jesus Christ that paved way for the salvation of mankind.
“It also provides us an opportunity to reflect on our lives as Christians in preparation for the celebration of Easter Sunday.
“I pray that today, we renew our commitment and determination in purity of hearts as Ndi Awka North as we seek redirection in life and service to humanity. Happy Good Friday!” the TC chairman, onye olu obodo Awka North, stated.
