The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mazi Ejimofor Opara, has showered praises on Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for his remarkable achievements within three years in office.
In a statement titled “About Last Night!”, Opara expressed that the overwhelming love and admiration for Soludo stem from “observable results and demonstrable leadership.”
The phrase “About Last Night” was in reference to the thunderous applause and cheers that accompanied every word spoken by Governor Soludo during a crusade organized by the Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Awka. The crowd’s reaction was seen as a reflection of the Governor’s widespread acceptance and the positive impact of his administration on the people of Anambra State.
Opara noted that in just 36 months, Soludo has shattered long-standing barriers and transformed various parts of the state. He highlighted the revival of Ekwulobia, the restoration of Okpoko, the resurrection of Onitsha, and the urbanization of Awka, which was once described as a “glorified village.”
“For many, Ekwulobia was impossible, Okpoko was irredeemable, Onitsha was dead and out, Awka was a glorified village, and Anambra was just a departure lounge. But has Soludo changed all these? Your response would determine my sequel,” Opara stated, urging Ndi Anambra to respond with facts.
According to him, Soludo’s leadership has not only accelerated infrastructure and development but has also restored hope and reshaped the social and economic landscape of the state.
As Soludo approaches his third anniversary in office, the resounding applause from the Dunamis congregation serves as a testament to his growing popularity and acceptance among the people.
