A renowned cleric of the Awka Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rev. Canon Lumen Kristy Eboh, has declared that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has no rival in the forthcoming Anambra State governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025.
Rev. Canon Eboh, who oversees the “God In Action Adoration Ministry” in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area, made the declaration during his weekly adoration ministration held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Agulu. The event also coincided with the celebration of his 45th birthday anniversary.
Speaking with journalists after the ministration, Canon Eboh cited Governor Soludo’s outstanding performance over the past three years as the reason he believes no candidate stands a chance against the incumbent governor in the upcoming poll.
According to him, Governor Soludo has excelled notably in critical sectors such as road infrastructure, security, and education—areas he described as fundamental in winning the confidence of the electorate.
“There are massive infrastructural developments ongoing across the state. Importantly, before now, kidnappers were proving stubborn, but when Governor Soludo descended on them, at least everywhere is cool and calm now in Anambra State. He has road projects across the state, both completed and ongoing. Anybody can say he is contesting, but it is merely to impress himself,” Canon Eboh stated.
Delivering his Easter message, the cleric reminded Christians that Easter is fundamentally about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, urging the faithful to embrace sober reflection rather than mere merry-making.
“People should think about their lives, not just about drinking, eating, and enjoying themselves,” he advised.
Canon Eboh also used the occasion to express gratitude to God for the gift of sound health for himself and his family, and for the divine grace to minister effectively to the people, including the healing of diseases through his ministry.
