The Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike has received books’ donation from Emeka Ofor Foundation.
The over 50 cartons of books received from the Foundation founded by Sir Emeka Ofor from Oraifite in Ekwusigo LGA, Anambra State shall be placed in library and distributed in schools across Aguata LGA.
Few months ago, Dr. Ofobuike re-constructed Nkpologwu Community Library and called for donation of library materials from individuals and corporate bodies.
The TC chairman who was just reappointed due to impeccable records said his vision to provide quality educational materials for students and young people in Aguata is in line with the Solution Agenda of Mr. Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
While appreciating the Chief of Staff to Sir Emeka Ofor, AIG (Rtd) Chris Ezike for facilitating the request, Dr. Ofobuike pledged to continue his drive towards providing opportunities for the people of Aguata.
