The re-appointed Transition Committee chairman of Aguata LGA, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike today received an award as the “Best Transition Committee chairman on Project Execution, 2023.”
Dr. Ofobuike received the award when the “Solution Governor” of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo flagged off the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission Week held at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre.
While speaking to journalists, Dr. Ofobuike said he was dedicating the award to Governor Soludo. “Mr. Governor’s extraordinary approach towards the ideation and execution of projects continue to be exemplary and inspirational to me” he said.
Ofobuike equally appreciated the Chairman, Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka and his team, for their dedication towards the affairs of the local government system in the state.
Meanwhile, the week-long event began with an opening keynote speech delivered by a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka.
Hundreds of the participants drawn from the 21 local government areas in Anambra State had an opportunity to interact with Mr. Governor who inspired the workers to continue with the delivery of quality services at the grass-root.
