The Labour Party candidate for Anambra East/West Federal Constituency House of Representatives, Chief Peter Aniekwe (MacPee), has called on Anam and Nsugbe youths to seek peaceful resolution of issues at all times.

Aniekwe said that violence and war have never resolved issues no matter how massive. He called on all the people involved in the reported matter between some youths from Anam and Nsugbe to listen, allow the elders and stakeholders investigate the cause of the misunderstanding, assess whatever happened and seek a peaceful way forward.
According to him, police and the security operatives in both communities are already involved in investigation and seeking peaceful resolution. He called on those who suffered loss to be patient as there must be a way of reaching out to them.
He said that Anam and Nsugbe have deep historical relationships which must not be destroyed by issues that can be resolved amicably. He advised the youths to shun all forms of destructive social vices, like cultism and drug abuse which he said, had destroyed many youths.
He advised them to engage in productive ventures because an idle mind is a devil’s workshop; adding that many Anam and Nsugbe youths are very productive and the good ones must not allow the few bad ones to spoil their integrity and good name.
