Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, has said it would have been disservice if he had turned down the offer to be running mate to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Okowa said “It would have been a disservice on my part to have turned down the Vice President nomination. I am a party man.”

The governor also insisted that he is an Igbo man and the time would come when an Igbo man will become the President of Nigeria.
Atiku last week, picked Okowa as his running mate. Explaining why he made the choice, Atiku stated that Okowa possesses all qualities needed for the job of Vice president.
