Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has emerged running mate to Mr Tonte Ibraye, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State.
The actress lauded the ADC governorship candidate for nominating her as his running mate for the 2023 governorship election.
She announced “the good news” on her verified Instagram page @Tontolet on Friday. “I thank Mr Tonte Ibraye, the governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), River State, for nominating me as running mate” she stated. “We are looking forward to invest massively in social protection, creating a social value system for young people, increase women inclusion in our governance system. We will equally support small businesses and strengthening our traditional institutions to be active players in the drive to bring sustainable development to the good people of Rivers State.”
She urged people of the state to get their Permanent Voters Card, saying “your’re the future and the future is now”.
