The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has felicitated with the Muslim faithful in Anambra State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid Kabir, urging reflection on the core values of sacrifice, devotion, and selflessness.
Governor Soludo’s message was shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, where he extended warm wishes to the Muslim community and acknowledged their significant contributions to the development of the state.
“Eid Kabir Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Anambra State and across Nigeria! As we celebrate this sacred festival, let’s reflect on the values of sacrifice, devotion, and selflessness that it embodies.”
He also commended the Muslim community for their role in fostering peaceful coexistence in the state, stating:
“I am proud of the contributions our Muslim community has made to our state’s socio-economic development and the peaceful co-existence we have enjoyed among people of different faiths.”
The Governor expressed hope that the season would inspire renewed commitment to collective progress.
“May this Eid Kabir bring us peace, prosperity, and renewed commitment to building a better society for all.”
He rounded off the message with his popular affirmation: “May Anambra continue to win!”
