The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Anambra West chapter, in collaboration with the Presidents General in the local government is organizing a One-Day Peace Summit for Youths.
The groundbreaking event scheduled to take place on December 14th, 2024, aims to empower the youths with peace education, skills, and knowledge.
The initiative has received the endorsement of respected community leaders, including the Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Chief Tonycollins Nwabunwanne; the Mayor, Anambra West LGA, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor; a senior lawyer, Barr. Ikechukwu Chukwudebelu, among others.
The coordinator, NYCN, AnambraWest chapter, Comrade Friday Okeke stated that to ensure the success of this initiative, the organizers kindly request that stakeholders consider sponsoring at least one home-based youth to attend the summit.
“This involvement will be instrumental in empowering youths and fostering a more peaceful and harmonious society.
“The One-Day Peace Summit for Youths promises to be a pivotal moment in shaping a brighter future for Anambra West.
“Join hands with the youths and community leaders to champion this noble cause and build a more harmonious and inclusive society” he stated.
