A non-governmental organisation, Akaoma Heart-to-heart founded by a former House of Representatives member, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe who represented Anambra East/West Federal Constituency has on behalf of the executive and members of his foundation, congratulated all the chairmen and councillors elected at the just concluded Anambra State local government election held on Saturday, September 28.
Chief Obidigwe who campaigned vigorously ahead of the election, described their election as a well deserved landslide victory.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Dominic Okagbue, Chief Obidigwe stated that “It is our prayer that God Almighty may continue to direct your affairs and grant you all, a successful tenure of office.
“God will bless you with more wisdom and peace of mind and above all favour you with an understanding to create both peaceful atmosphere and developmental initiatives in your respective local governments and at ward levels, towards complementing the developmental strides of Mr. Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR”
Continuing, he stated, “Akaoma Heart To Heart Initiative championed by Hon Chief Benjamin C. Obidigwe , MHR ( Fmr) is a community based charity organisation, domiciled in Anambra East and West Federal Constituency.
“The constituency covers 25 political wards and over 21 communities with a mandate of touching lives positively, especially the downtrodden in our society. This is in line with the APGA manifesto of being our brother’s and sister’s keepers.
“While congratulating the local government chairmen elect and Ward councillors , the former Federal lawmaker noted that the success recorded by APGA in the poll is an absolute reflection of Governor Soludo’s acceptance and true manifestation of his quality performance across the state especially as it concerns infrastructural development, youths empowerment, job creation, agricultural revolution, etc.
“APGA is Anambra and Anambra is APGA which shall be continued and consolidated even beyond 2025 when ndi Anambra shall further re-elect Governor Soludo for a second term in office to continue with his good jobs .
