Former federal lawmaker, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, who represented Anambra East and West Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives has unveiled a grassroots movement tagged ” United Akaoma Ambassadors for Soludo 2025″, to mobilise grassroots support for the re-election of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
The political structure, according to Obidigwe, is aimed at promoting good governance and quality leadership of the APGA government in Anambra State, led by Governor Soludo.
The movement was launched at his Aguleri county home, as part of his strategies towards promoting grassroots participation in party politics.
Chief Obidigwe popularly known as Akaoma jude aku, used the occasion to also unveil “Akaoma Heart-to-heart Initiative targeted at provision of palliatives for APGA faithful, stakeholders and the entire supporters of the party from the nooks and crannies of the twenty-five political wards in the Anambra East/West Federal Constituency.
While addressing his audience, Obidigwe commended Governor Soludo for his sincere demonstration of good governance in Anambra State with special reference to quality infrastructural development, youth empowerment scheme, job creation among others. He urged the people to continue to support the APGA government in the state.
The event was attended by the Commissioner for Chieftaincy, Town Union and Community Affairs, Chief Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, the Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka; the Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government, Sir Ifeanyi Chinweze; the Transition Committee chairman of Anambra West, Mr. Fidelis Nnazor and many others.
