The state executive, zonal and LGA coordinators of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Solidarity Movement were today sworn into office.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the legal adviser of the movement simply known as ASM, Barr. Obiora Nweke.
They stated on oath, “I do solemnly swear to uphold the authority of the constitution of our great party, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), that I shall at all times maintain and project the good image of our great party, APGA in solidarity with total obedience to APGA and the party’s hierarchy.
“I pledge to defend the APGA constitution and the APGA party manifestos through aggressive galvanizing of supporters at the grassroots. So help me God.”
Earlier, the national coordinator, Sir Ebele Okafor welcomed everyone and implored them to take the well known objectives of the movement very serious. He started with conducting the singing of the APGA national anthem and ASM’s slogan which is “Solidarity forever”.
While urging the coordinators to recruit go-getters who will help them realise the objectives of the Movement, the national coordinator, emphasised the need of recognising the importance of the stakeholders in their domain and working with them.
He announced that there would be mega rallies in different senatorial zones of the state and urged the coordinators to start all the necessary legwork.
The Assistant National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Sir Ojukwu Obakasi and numerous others recounted several ongoing projects by Governor Soludo.
They collectively pledged to work assiduously to return the “Solution Governor” Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for second term.
