Recently, the Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike launched the Aguata Small Business Support for Women.
According to Dr. Ofobuike, “the Small Business Support for Women is an effort to provide zero interest loans to petty traders and small business owners within markets in Aguata LGA.
He said the support is targeted to help the beneficiaries during the “season” period of 2024 – in the light of the drive to empower Aguata women.
“Mindful of the role of a local government in bettering the lives of people, Aguata LGA is poised to lead in this regard” he said.
