Nigerians have lambasted the former APGA National Youth Leader, Comr. Anselem Chinedu Nebeife, over his statement against Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
The outrage is against Nebeife’s allegation that tarring of roads by Governor Soludo is not the core mandate that would return him to power in 2025. He alleged that Prof Soludo failed to transform the state into African-Dubai-Taiwan which he promised during his campaigns.
But reacting to the state on Facebook, Ernest Ikechukwu Emengo jnr:
asked: “What exactly do we, the Anambrarians want? Obiano didn’t do roads, we called him names. In spite that he did some signature projects such as Anambra Airport and ICC Awka. Now, Soludo is doing roads, we are still complaining. Nawa oo.”
Chukwudile Moses Ukpabia said, “Well, I went round some of the construction sites going on, I can only attest that anyone saying wrong against Prof is doing him/herself a lot of harm than good.”
He enumerated some of the places where Governor Soludo is seriously working, “Awka North, New Governor’s Lodge, Isuofia, Ekwulobia Flyover, Internal road construction throughout the 21 LGAs in Anambra and most distinctively Anam in Anambra West and Ebenebe in Awka North.
“Anambra State is now ICT compliant.
ACTDA working to ensure development in the state. Employment in Health Care and schools. No borrowing. Recall I intentionally left payment of salaries and pension. The list is endless. And I ask, what else do you want to hear?”
He asked Nebeife: “What have you contributed to the growth of the state as a youth? It is high time we start appraising ourselves individually before we open our mouth to speak.
“When you don’t see good because of your pay master, your pay master and destiny helper will write you off tomorrow.”
Onwa Chinyelugo said “Access road is number one before other things. Did the youth leader tell Obiano the same thing when the former governor was sharing them Anambra state money?
“Soludo will not share our money like that, instead let him use it to work for us.”
Chuks Dume was more blunt, he said: “He did not get appointment. Na so politicians dey do. If he’s given appointment now, the governor would become the best thing that has happened to ndi Anambra.”
Emeka Okoli said “H.E Prof. Soludo is doing very well and must be commended. He has done well more than his predecessors. As to that he has 100% chances of his return.
“Go to so many places all around Anambra State, you must find a solution been impacted over there. Come to Onitsha market and other big markets in Anambra, there is a very big impact in it. Nevertheless H.E Prof. C. C. Soludo is doing well.”
Vincent Okoye said, “Anselem Chinedu Nebeife should go and hide his face with shame. You guys think that soludo’s government will be business as usual, just like past government. But sorry that you are disappointed. Soludo has shown his love to ndi Anambra and must go for second tenure. Please remember that politics is not an occupation. So, go and find something doing while enjoying the ride.”
