Former member who represented Anambra East/West Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe has called for more support to Governor Charles Soludo and his administration.

Obidigwe who said that Governor Soludo is doing very well and needs everyone’s support to be re-elected for second term in 2025, appealed to All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) members to shelve personal political interests and work for the greater interest of the party.

The former House of Representatives member made the call when he hosted the principal officers of APGA, Anambra West and some stakeholders at ward and local government levels. He called on them to mobilize strongly at the ward levels towards promoting Governor Soludo’s good governance to continue and consolidate beyond 2025.

While addressing his guests, Obidigwe said, “Soludo has performed creditably well in all its ramifications. As such, he deserves an uninterrupted second term, come 2025. Every politician in APGA across the state ( Anambra) should bury whatever political interest he/she may have in 2027 and collaborate at both local government and ward levels, towards ensuring a landslide victory for Governor Soludo come 2025.

A statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity, Dominic Okagbue noted that the
meeting which lasted for several hours was attended by the State Deputy Chairman of APGA, Mr Paul Uzor; Chief  Onuorah Sunday, Iyi Anam;  Chairman, APGA, Anambra West, Mr. Romanus Egwuatu; Chief Augustine Chukwurah, Double Chair;  Comrade Quincy Bruno Nduba, Complete M.C and Mr. Onwa Onuora.

Meanwhile, Onwa Onuora was appointed by Hon. Obidigwe as his Personal Assistant on Media, Anambra West affairs.

Obidigwe was commended for his initiatives and ideas geared toward promoting Anambra West grassroot politics adding that they should continue to support the Soludo’s administration and subsequent elections in Anambra State in favour of APGA.
