Anambra East is on the move!
Yesterday was another busy day, filled with activities focused on ensuring that the progress we see in our local government translates into a brighter future for our people.
Yesterday morning kicked off with a series of inspections at ongoing construction projects. Anambra East has the distinction of being the fastest-growing local government in terms of urban development, and it is truly inspiring to see the energy and ambition driving this transformation. However, responsible growth is essential. Mr Governor’s vision for urban regeneration is a guiding principle for our local government.
During these inspections, I ensured these projects adhere to established government guidelines. Building strong, sustainable infrastructure that complements, rather than disrupts, the existing environment is crucial, and I am committed to seeing that happen.
Security is another top priority. Recent discussions have highlighted the need for enhanced security measures in Anambra East. Following up on these discussions, I visited a potential site for the establishment of additional checkpoints across the local government. Strategically placed checkpoints can act as a deterrent to crime and ensure a more secure environment for everyone.
I thank Mr Governor and his administration for their kind supports and guidance to us as we continue to work on consolidating the Solution Agenda amongst the grassroots here in Anambra East.
Ndibeanyi,
It is morning yet and we will do the most in the discharge of our responsibility
