The Chief Executive Officer, Cubana Group of Companies, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, has embarked on construction of 1km road at Umuagu village in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State.

The 1km road flagged-off on Saturday is expected to be completed and commissioned this March.
Speaking at the flag-off, an APGA chieftain and brother to the CEO, Hon. Ikenna Iyiegbu (Onyechimelu’eze) said that the Cubana Group is giving back to society and had keyed in to Governor Charles Soludo’s (PPCPP), sustainable, livable and prosperous homeland. He recalled that Cubana Group had been constructing roads in Oba for years and would continue their service to the people and humanity at large. He promised that more roads would be built before the end of the year.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi, who was present during the flag-off, commended the Cubana Group for their support to Oba people, Idemili South and Anambra State in general.
She said that the construction of community roads would ease the burden of motorists and motorcycle riders as well as open the area to further development.
The flag-off was attended by stakeholders, President General of Oba, village chairman, and the executive members, APGA party executive, and councillors.
