The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the South East, Sir Ojukwu Obakasi has said that Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo is too focused on developmental projects to be distracted.
Obakasi was reacting to an earlier statement attributed to state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , Chief Basil Ejidike who boasted that his party would send APGA to the dustbin of history.
Ejidike was quoted to have said that APGA had lost its hold on Anambra political structure, dismissing the claims by APGA that the regime of Governor Soludo was performing creditably and should be re-elected in 2025.
Obakasi pointed out that Governor Soludo is bent on fulfilling his campaign promises to Anambrarians and would not condescend to minding irrelevant issues meant to seek attention and distract him.
He said that Prof. Soludo’s giant strides speak for itself, adding that Anambrarians are wiser and would make the right decisions when the time comes.
He said, “We know the party APC. We are aware of their style of not conducting credible primary elections and this is because there is no credible person that can stand up to our performing governor who is busy providing solutions to Anambra problems. ”
