The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial district, Dr. Tony Nwoye has joined numerous Nigerians in celebrating His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, the Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary on October 20, 2023.
Senator Nwoye who has been very active in the present National Assembly, stated, “Today, I join family, friends, presbyterium, religious and lay faithful of Onitsha Archdiocese in celebrating the Catholic Archbishop whose profound devotion to God and the gospel of Jesus Christ are evidenced in his pastoral teachings, exceptional grace to intercede and evangelize, which have inspired people in their numbers, within and outside Onitsha Archdiocese.
“As Archbishop Val Okeke turns a septuagenarian, I celebrate him for his large-heartedness, Godly counsel and constant encouragement, as well as his contributions in education, health and social infrastructures, which have influenced many lives, and brought succour to innumerable people.
“I wish him more glorious years and pray for his well being in good health, strength and wisdom as he continues to direct the affairs of the Archdiocese.”
