Mr. Valentine Obienyem, the Publicity/media aide to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi has said the news of the loss of Mr. Peter Obi’s phone that went viral on Tuesday was not a case of theft.
Obienyem said Mr. Obi left the phones on his table to exchange pleasantries with some people in court, whereupon, for safety sake, one of his aides picked the phones.
Obienyem while acknowledging the spontaneous outpouring of solidarity said, “Once again, we appreciate your concern. It is yet again a demonstration of the love of the people for Obi.”
