The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) chairmanship candidate for Anambra West LGA , Hon. Fidelis Nnazor has pledged to do solid “palliative” on Oroma Etiti to Onono road, as his first official responsibility, if elected on Saturday, September 28.
Nnazor and his deputy, Mrs Edith Ndive, made the commitment when their campaign team, yesterday, stormed the Ezi Anam communities of Umuenwelum, Oroma Etiti, Umudora and Umuikwu Anam with the “solution is here” message.
Speaking, Nnazor said that he understood the importance of the road and would not wait for the State Government before doing what the local government could do within its capacity.
He re-emphasised the cordial relationship between Anam and the Igala people of Anambra West and the need to ensure balance, equity and fairness in all their dealings.
Some of the dignitaries in the campaign tour were the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Matters, Chief Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, chairman, APGA, Anambra West, Mr. Romanus Egwuatu, APGA woman leader, Mrs Nneka Nwachigwe, Chief Sunday Onuora, Chief Jacob Mmadukolu and many other party leaders and faithful.
The campaign team will today visit the communities in Ivite Anam.
